Men's Basketball Battles Concordia on Saturday

The Red Raiders open GPAC play in front of the home crowd

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) schedule is slated to begin on Saturday for the No. 18-ranked Northwestern College men's basketball team (4-0, 0-0 GPAC) when they play host to the Concordia University Bulldogs (3-1, 0-1 GPAC) inside the Bultman Center.

Northwestern and Concordia meet for NWC's GPAC opener on Saturday.
The Raiders and Bulldogs met three times in 2022-23, with Concordia winning two of the matchups.

In the most recent NAIA Coaches' Poll, the Red Raiders moved up three spots to No. 18.
It is their highest ranking in the one-division era, which began in 2020.
The Raiders are currently the highest-ranked GPAC team among four schools represented in the poll.
Northwestern received a No. 21 ranking in the preseason NAIA Top-25.

SERIES HISTORY – CONCORDIA (NEB.)

NWC leads the all-time series with Concordia, 26-16.
The Bulldogs won the last meeting in the 2023 GPAC Quarterfinals (90-77) in Orange City.
