GAME 1: Midland 4, Northwestern 1
Pitching Decisions
Win: Jay Lambert (3-3)
Loss: Brett Shelton (3-4)

How It Happened
Midland began the scoring early in the contest, manufacturing a run in the first after a leadoff double down the left field line by Beau Boyle. He would later steal third, before being scored on a sacrifice fly to give Midland the early 1-0 advantage.
More small ball in the second inning led to the second Midland run, as a leadoff single would eventually come around to score on a bunt single. Midland would tack on two more runs between the third and the fourth innings, to take the 4-0 lead after four innings.
The Raiders got on the board in the fourth themselves via an RBI single from
Colby Shelton (Fr., Urbandale, Iowa/Des Moines Christian) that scored
Sam Stanford (So., Los Angeles, Calif./Pacifica Christian). Stanford began the inning with a double down the left field line.
