SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Northwestern College women's tennis (4-10, 0-4 GPAC) dropped their match to the Tigers of Doane University (8-5, 3-0 GPAC) 0-7.
Doane took the doubles point winning two of three of the doubles matches.
Ainslie Robinson (Fr., Luverne, Minn.) and
Wynne Vandersall (Jr., Martelle, Iowa) took their match 6-3.
Julia Kutz (Fr., Sheridan, Wyo.) dropped her match in the No. 1 singles spot 1-6, 3-6.
Julia Anderson (Fr., Rapid City, S.D.) battled in the No. 2 singles spot, dropping her match 3-6, 2-6. Vandersall took her match to three sets, winning the first one 6-2.
Emma Montenegro (So., Paramount, Calif.) also took her match to three sets. Montenegro took the first set in convincing fashion 6-2 and eventually lost in a tiebreaker 7-10.
