ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has released the pairings for the GPAC Tennis Tournament that is to be hosted by Midland University on Friday, April 29, and Saturday April 30 in Fremont, Neb.
The Northwestern College men's tennis team is seeded sixth with a 10-7 overall record and a GPAC conference record of 2-4. They will face Concordia (Neb.) University on Friday, April 29, beginning at approximately 1:30 p.m.

The tournament has been moved indoors due to unfavorable weather forecasts. The entire event will be held at the YMCA-Fremont.

Head coach Monte Tilgner stated, "We finished tied for fourth in the conference regular season standings. Unfortunately, with the three-way tiebreaker we ended up being seeded sixth for the conference tournament. We will face Concordia, they are a tough team that beat us 6-1 the first time we played them. We had several of the matches that were very close, and we will have to play better to flip some of those to come out on top."
