Cheer and Dance Compete at GPAC Championship

CRETE, Neb. – The Northwestern College cheer and dance teams competed at the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Championship this weekend. 

The Cheer team tallied a total score of 68.74 points, which finished fifth out of eight teams competing. The Raiders now sit 27th in the nation with an average score of 71.12 in their six competitions this season.
 
The Dance team finished eighth of 10 teams competing, compiling a final score of 57.79 points. On the season in their five competitions this season sit 34th in the nation with an average score of 59.30 points.  

The GPAC cheer champions were the Warriors of Midland University with a score of 86.73. Morningside won the dance title with a score of 89.24 points.
