SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – The Northwestern College cheer and dance squads both competed in the Dordt Invite earlier today, February 19.
The cheer team earned one of their best scores of the season with 77.17 points. This was an improvement over last night's winning performance in their duel with Mount Marty. The cheer team's score was good for a second-place finish out of five teams.
The dance team scored a 56.8 for their performance earlier today. They finished fourth out of five teams competing.
Up Next: The Raider squads will go compete in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Championship on February 25 in Crete, Neb. on the campus of Doane University. The cheer prelims will begin at approximately 10:20 a.m. and the dance prelims are set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
