Ochoa To Play Football at Northwestern

| By:
Luis Ochoa (Surprise, Ariz.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College in the fall.

Ochoa is a 6'0", 220-pound linebacker who played two years for Shadow Ridge High School. Ochoa earned first team all-district and second team all-region honors after compiling 65 tackles, two forced fumbles, two quarterback sacks and one interception last fall. He plans to study Business / Marketing at Northwestern and is the son of Luis and Jenny.

"Luis is a great addition to our linebacker group and to our defense," said Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "Luis is a big, physical player who has great football instincts. We are excited to have Luis be part of our program over the next four years."

"I chose Northwestern because of the great community within the school," said Ochoa. "The coaches, professors and players that I met with were very welcoming."
