Katie Hopkins (
Oakland, Mich.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.

Hopkins is a 5'7" setter who started all four years playing for Oakland Christian High School. Hopkins compiled 2,476 assists during her career and led her team to a state runner-up finish in 2020 to go with three conference titles (2017, 18, 20). She finished her career as a three-time all-conference selection and garnered all-state honors this season. Hopkins was named to the NCSAA All-American team and plans to study Nursing at Northwestern.
"Ever since we started recruiting Katie, she has been a perfect fit for our team and campus," said Northwestern Head Coach
Kyle Van Den Bosch. "She is an accomplished setter and is a very hard worker that pays attention to the details really well. Katie is a great addition to our setting group on our team and we are excited to welcome Katie to Northwestern College and our volleyball team."
