The Northwestern College women's tennis team lost to Hastings 6-1 in the conference opener for both teams played tonight in Hastings, Neb.

Wynne Vandersall earned the lone win for the Raiders, defeating Theresa Price 6-3, 7-6 at No.1 singles. The freshman improved her record to 4-3 this season. 

Northwestern, now 1-7 on the year, will head to Doane on Saturday for another conference match-up.
