Lushawn Griffin (
Gulfport, Miss.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College this fall.
"Northwestern is a good fit for me and will allow me to continue my football career as well as get a great education," said Griffin.
Griffin is a 5'10", 160-pound receiver who played three years for Gulfport High School. Griffin totaled 18 catches for 242 yards and four touchdowns last fall. He is the son of Luecinda.
"Lushawn is an all-round threat at receiver," stated Northwestern head coach
Matt McCarty. "Lushawn has the ability to make big plays catching the football but is also a very good blocker along the perimeter."
