Dodds Commits To Northwestern

| By:
Ryan Dodds (McCook Lake, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College.

Dodds is a 6'1", 265-pound offensive lineman who played two years for Dakota Valley High School. Dodds helped lead his team to the state playoffs and a 6-4 overall record. He was named a finalist for the state's best offensive lineman as a senior and is an academic all-state selection. Dodds plans to study Biology / Health Professions at Northwestern and is the son of Matthew and Marlee.

"We are thrilled to have Ryan join our Northwestern College football team," commented head coach Matt McCarty. "Ryan comes from an outstanding program at Dakota Valley and will be prepared to compete up front. He has good size and plays with a good physicality."

"Their Biology / Pre-Med program really stood out to me," stated Dodds on why he chose to attend Northwestern. "I loved the football environment and culture that Northwestern has; their coaching staff was top-notch and it seemed like they really care about their players' success in all aspects of life."
