| By:
Carson Swenson (Clearwater, Fla.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Swenson is a 6'4", 310-pound lineman who played three years for the Clearwater Academy International football team. Swenson helped lead his team to the state playoffs and plans to study Business Administration at Northwestern. He is the son of Kelly and Bob Dobbin.

"Carson comes from an outstanding high school program," commented Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. "He has good size, strength and the ability to be an impact player for us along the offensive line. We look forward to working with Carson during his time at Northwestern."

"I had an amazing time on my visit to Northwestern," commented Swenson. "I fell in love with the gorgeous campus and the people I met, from the students, athletes to the faculty and staff members, were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome."
