| By:
Ian Jacob (Lynden, Wash.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College in the fall.

Jacob is a 6'5", 210-pound tight end who is in his fourth season playing for the Lynden High School football team. Jacob helped lead his team to the class 2A state semifinals and a 9-3 record in the fall of 2020. He has five catches for 88 yards and a touchdown while also playing basketball and baseball for Lynden. An honor roll student, Jacob plans to study Finance at Northwestern. He is the son of Israel and Julie.

"Ian is a great athlete who has tremendous upside at tight end," commented Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He possesses good size, speed and has been part of a solid high school program. We believe Ian has a bright future in our offense."
