Cameron Morgan (
Stillwater, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College in the fall.
Morgan is a 6'1", 260-pound offensive lineman who played two years for the Stillwater Area High School football team. Named team captain, Morgan helped lead his team to the Metro East Conference championship, going 4-1 in league play. He earned all-conference honors and was voted the team's lineman of the year. Morgan plans to study Exercise Science at Northwestern and is the son of Darrell and Natalie.
"Cameron is an outstanding leader and teammate," said Northwestern head coach
Matt McCarty. "We have worked with Cameron at our summer camp and have seen what he is capable of. Cameron will be an excellent addition to our offensive line and we look forward to him competing for a spot."
"I chose Northwestern because it felt like home," commented Morgan. "Northwestern has a winning culture and a great support system with the coaches. I feel that I can succeed both academically and athletically here and I can't wait to be a Red Raider."
