ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- Grace Najera (Henderson, Nev.) has signed her letter of intent to continue her soccer career at Northwestern College.Â
"Grace will be a great addition to our team," said Head Coach
Shannon Andringa. "She is a skilled defender and loves the sport. Off the field, Grace will be a great fit on campus. She will fit in to our tight-knit community and I am excited to see her thrive!"
Najera plays for Coronado High School and for the Albion Las Vegas DPL team. She plays as an outside back and center back along the defensive back line.Â
Najera plans to study Nursing at Northwestern. She is also an ROTC officer, beginning that her sophomore year. She is the head leader of the community service in her ROTC group.Â
"They had everything I was looking for in a college," said Najera about her decision. "I love the community and love they share within the school."
