ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- Olivia Reitsma (Bellevue, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.Â
Reitsma finishes her four-year high school volleyball career with 2,081 assists, 1,112 digs, 667 kills, and 132 aces. Rietsma's post season honors include Omaha World Herald's All-Metro Honorable Mention (2018, 2019, 2020), All-Class Honorable Mention (2018), All ITG Second Team (2019), Lincoln Journal Star's All-State Honorable Mention (2019, 2020).
"Liv comes to us after a great high school career as a setter and a right side attacker," noted Head Coach
Kyle Van Den Bosch. "She has the quickness, athleticism, and competitiveness to be a great setter in our program. Liv plays with a contagious energy that will fit in really well with the other quality young people in our program. We are pumped to add Liv to our volleyball team and are excited to see the contribution she will make both on and off the volleyball court here at NWC!"
Reitsma is a member of the National Honor Society and has three NPCA Academic All-State Awards to her name. She is the daughter of Erin and Ryan.
