SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – Four Raiders score in double digits as the Northwestern College men's basketball team (8-3, 1-1 GPAC) dominates the Wolfpack of Oak Hills Christian College (1-9, 0-0 NIAC) 98-61 in the final day of the Dordt Classic inside De Witt Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

The Raiders controlled the contest from the tip-off, starting the game on an 8-0 run as Alex Van Kalsbeek (So., Orange City, Iowa/MOC-Floyd Valley) was responsible for six of those first eight points. Northwestern led by as many as 31 points in the first half, holding a stout 50-19 lead with three minutes to play in the half. Van Kalsbeek led all scorers with 13 points, followed by Matt Onken (R-So., Marshall, Minn./Marshall) who had 10 points and six rebounds. The Raiders were red hot in the opening half, shooting 61.1% from the field and a solid 53.8% from 3-point range.

The Raiders kept the pressure on in the second half, leading by as many as 46 points with 8:57 to play in the contest. The Northwestern bench got some action in the second half as Ethan Klompien (So., Orange City, Iowa/Unity Christian) tallied three points to lead all bench scorers. Dominating every aspect of the game, the Raiders found themselves in total control shooting 56.9% from the floor on the game, while shooting 41.4% from deep (12-for-29).
