ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Jamie Young (Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her soccer career at Northwestern College.
Young is a goalkeeper for Sioux Falls Christian and the Dakota Alliance Soccer Club. Young is the current record holder of most shut outs and least goals against in a season. She is a team captain and has been the starting goalkeeper for three years.
Young plans to study Education, Spanish, and Political Science at Northwestern and is a High Honor Role student, as well as a member of the National Honor Society and Presidential Academic Awards. She is the daughter of Jason and Lisa.
"I choose Northwestern because I loved the atmosphere I got from the soccer team as well as the students and staff on campus," said Young. "Northwestern offered my major with an exceptional program. I can't wait to be able to join the Raider community!"
