Alysen Dexter (Urbandale, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.

Dexter is a 5'11" outside hitter who completed a standout, four-year career playing for Des Moines Christian. A four-year starter, Dexter put down 3.3 kills per set and hit .318%, second best in the West Central Conference, in leading Des Moines Christian to a 24-14 record last fall. She averaged two digs per set and ranked second in class 3A with 65 ace serves while earning all-state honors. Dexter was named all-conference three years and is a member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Royce and Carol.

"Alysen is a dynamic outside attacker who has the ability to finish points at a high level," commented Northwestern head coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. "She had a great high school career for Des Moines Christian. Alysen is a great teammate and is always looking for ways to be a blessing to the people that she is around. We are excited to welcome Alysen to our team and are excited to see the impact she will have both on and off the court at Northwestern."
