Alysen Dexter (
Urbandale, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.

Dexter is a 5'11" outside hitter who completed a standout, four-year career playing for Des Moines Christian. A four-year starter, Dexter put down 3.3 kills per set and hit .318%, second best in the West Central Conference, in leading Des Moines Christian to a 24-14 record last fall. She averaged two digs per set and ranked second in class 3A with 65 ace serves while earning all-state honors. Dexter was named all-conference three years and is a member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Royce and Carol.
"Alysen is a dynamic outside attacker who has the ability to finish points at a high level," commented Northwestern head coach
