Scott To Play Football For Northwestern

| By:
Rylee Scott (Maxwell, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Scott is a 6'2", 210-pound defensive end and fullback who played four years for the Collins-Maxwell High School football team. Scott accounted for 59.5 tackles, 14.5 tackles for a loss and 4.5 quarterback sacks in leading his team to a second round playoff berth last fall. He earned third team all-state honors and was also a first team all-district pick two years. A four-year starter and three-year team captain, Scott competed in basketball, track and wrestling for Collins-Maxwell High School as well. An honor roll student, he plans to study Exercise Science at Northwestern. Scott is the son of Kelley and Heather.

"Rylee had a great career at Collins Maxwell," said Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. "He is a long, athletic football player who has great work ethic. We feel like Rylee's best football is ahead of him and look forward to watching him over the next four years."
