Mason Flor (
Springfield, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College in the fall.
Flor is a 6'2", 270-pound lineman who played on both offense and defense for the Springfield / Comfrey football team. Flor was part of a team that finished 6-2 and reached the second round of the state playoffs. He plans to study physical therapy at Northwestern and is the son of Dan and Maria.
"Mason has the potential to be a strong offensive lineman for us," said Northwestern head coach
Matt McCarty. "Mason possesses good size and strength comes from a solid high school program. We are excited to work with him over the next four years."

"As soon as I attended summer football camp at Northwestern, I knew it was the place for me," stated Flor. "The coaches and players made me feel welcome, the facilities are top-notch and they have a strong winning tradition."
