Jeremiah Puerto (
Plant City, Fla.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College in the fall.
Puerto is a 5'10" wide receiver / defensive back who played two years for the Durant High School football program. Puerto totaled 12 catches for 200 yards and two scores for a Cougars team that qualified for the postseason. He plans to major in History / English at Northwestern and is the son of Erika and William Schwartz.
"We are excited to have Jeremiah join our receiving corps and Raider football team," said Northwestern Head Coach
Matt McCarty. "He has good speed and will be a solid addition to our team. We look forward to watching him compete as a Raider over the next four years."
