Brian Vanden Berg won both in singles and doubles to lead Northwestern to a 4-3 win over Mount Marty in a non-conference match played tonight in Orange City.
The Raiders won three of the five singles matches, all in straight sets. VandenBerg dropped just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win over Logan Jager in the top singles match. Nic VanRijs and
Aaron Schorg also picked up wins at No.3 and No.5 singles.
VandenBerg also won at No.1 doubles, partnering with
Chris Jelken for a 6-2 win over Jager and Alex Lehner.
Northwestern will conclude its fall season with a home match against Iowa Central Community College on Sept. 23.
