Raiders, BCU Match Ends In Scoreless Draw

Kaelin Alons records 14 saves for Northwestern

Northwestern College and Briar Cliff played to a double overtime, scoreless draw in a non-conference match played today at the Raider soccer complex. Both teams were making their season debut. 

Kaelin Alons totaled a career-best 14 saves in just her second start in goal for the Raiders.

Head Coach Ben Karnish's squad accounted for eight shots on goal, two each by Maria Lopes, Julie Dunlap and Emily Hurley. 

The Raiders will begin GPAC play on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at home against College of Saint Mary.
