Kade Fey (
Edgerton, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College.
Fey is a 6'6" forward who had an outstanding four-year career playing for the Southwest Minnesota Christian High School basketball team. Fey averaged 20 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists in leading his team to an unbeaten 29-0 record and sectional championship last year (state tournament was cancelled due to Covid 19). He shot 64% from the field, 82% from the free throw line and was named the Player of the Game several times.
"Kade is a long, athletic player who can shoot the ball," commented Northwestern Head Coach
Kris Korver. "Kade loves to work on his game and be in the gym. He has been coached well and has the ability to elevate the play of his teammates. As he gets stronger and adjusts to the rigors of the college game, Kade will find ways to impact the game. He is a quality young man and we look forward to coaching him over the next four years."
Fey earned both all-conference and all-area honors the last two years and is a member of the honor roll. Fey is the son of Ross and Nicole.
