Ryan Vande Haar (Pella, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College beginning next fall.

Vande Haar is a 6'5" forward who played three years for the Pella Christian High School basketball team. Vande Haar averaged 6.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in leading his team to the state quarterfinals with a 13-11 record as a senior. He was named to the All-County team and is a member of the honor roll. Vande Haar plans to major in Accounting at Northwestern and is the son of Evan and Christy.

"Ryan is a long, versatile wing who can play multiple positions," said Northwestern Head Coach Kris Korver. "He is a good, all-around player who has been coached well and been part of successful teams at Pella Christian. Ryan is a high character young man and he will be an asset to our program and to our campus community. We are excited to have Ryan join our program."
