"We wrestled well tonight", commented head coach
Rik Dahl. "Doane has come a long way in the past year and they have solid young men. Kryfka got us started on the right foot in a back and forth match. He kept wrestling and that allowed him see the opportunity for the fall. Dante ran into a buzzsaw at 149, but battled hard in defeat. Matches went back and forth after that. Pomajzl racked up 17 points to block up the major decisions. Null and Jenness completed the winning forthe night for the Raiders. In the five wins we picked up 13 bonus points and we gave up none. That was a testament the improvement we've made in a weeks time. Last week we gave up quite a few bonus points. We'll fine tune a few things and get ready for Waldorf next Wednesday."
The Raiders finished their dual season next Wednesday at Waldorf.
