Emily Miller (
Hurley, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.

Miller is a 5'11" middle hitter who played four years for the Freeman High School volleyball team. Miller totaled over 1,000 career kills, averaging 3.7 kills per set, and was named to the South Dakota Future 50 Elite team. She earned first team all-conference honors three years and was voted the Cornbelt Conference most valuable player last fall. Miller put down 4.5 kills per set and 124 blocks in leading her team to a 21-6 record and appearance to the South Dakota 16.
"Emily had a fantastic high school career," commented Northwestern Head Coach
Kyle Van Den Bosch. "We first took notice of Emily at our volleyball camp last summer. She is quick jumper, has a fast arm swing and has the ability to play multiple spots in the front row. We are excited to welcome Emily to our campus and volleyball team."
An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Miller plans to major in Nursing at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Mark and Sharla.
