Game Time...Fresh off its first win of the season against then-unbeaten Briar Cliff, the Northwestern College women's basketball team hosts Hastings in a conference match-up this weekend. Tip-off on Saturday, Dec. 5, is scheduled for 2pm. Northwestern is 1-3 and tied with both Dordt and Doane for seventh place in the current standings, 1-6 overall; Hastings is tied with Jamestown for fifth place in the GPAC at 2-2, 2-3 overall.

All-Time...Northwestern is 29-33 against the Broncos (since 1991-92) but 7-3 in the last 10 match-ups. Last year, the Raiders were swept, losing on the road 82-71 and 72-62 at home.

The Broncos lost to Concordia last time out, 73-66, a setback that snapped their modest two-game win streak. Hastings has wins over Jamestown and College of Saint Mary (Neb.) and has lost to Peru State and Midland.

Douglas is in her sixth year as the Broncos head coach and earned GPAC Coach of the Year honors after leading her team to a 30-3 overall record and No.4 final ranking in 2019-20. One starter and seven players return from last year's team; Hastings was picked fifth in the GPAC preseason poll.
