Dane Schoenborn (Mahnomen, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Schoenborn is a 5'11", 185-pound athlete who played multiple positions on both offense and defense for Fosston High School. Named team captain as a sophomore and junior, Schoenborn earned all-conference two years. Also a letter winner in wrestling, Schoenborn is an academic all-state selection. He plans to study Biology / Health Professions / Pre-Med at Northwestern and is the son of Doug and Michele.

"Dane is an outstanding fit for Northwestern College," said Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He is a very good athlete who has outstanding potential as a football player. We are excited to have him be part of our program and look forward to coaching him the next four years."
