The Bulldogs opened the season with three straight losses, falling to Dakota State, #20 Carroll (Mont.) and to Midland in their conference opener. 

Olson begins his 15th season as the Bulldogs head coach and returns one starter, six players from a 2019-20 team that won both the GPAC regular and postseason titles, finishing with a 32-2 record. They welcome a transfer (from Briar Cliff) as well as an All-American from 2018-19 (Taylor Cockerill), who missed last year due to injury. Concordia was picked second in the GPAC preseason poll.
