Madelyn Liudahl (Manhattan, Mont.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College.

Liudahl is a 5'4" libero who recently completed an outstanding four-year career playing for the Manhattan Christian High School volleyball team. Liudahl earned all-state honors and helped lead her team to the class C state championship with a 26-2 record last fall. She totaled 50 aces and 663 digs while earning all-conference honors for the third time. Liudahl finished second all-time with 1,217 career digs and was named team captain her senior year. She received academic all-state accolades in three sports (volleyball, basketball and golf) and helped lead Manhattan Christian to three consecutive golf state titles. Liudahl plans to major in Nursing at Northwestern and is the daughter of Jake and Shawna.

"Madelyn comes to us after being part of a state championship team last fall," said Northwestern Head Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. "Madelyn is a very skilled defensive player who has a good passing platform. She is competitive and plays with tenacity and toughness, attributes that are necessary to succeed in the backrow. We are excited to welcome Madelyn to our volleyball program and campus community."
