The Red Raiders went 2-1 at the GPAC Duals Saturday in Mitchell, S.D. They beat Dakota Wesleyan, 39-9, Midland University, 44-6, and lost to Morningside College, 27-21.
"Guys wrestled hard today," commented head coach
Rik Dahl. "I thought we did a good job of initiating attacks in neutral. A lot of the mistakes that were made were aggressive mistakes, and those are fun mistakes to deal with. We have to learn the difference between controlling action and forcing positions. The loss to Morningside stung, because it felt like we let a lot of opportunities slip away. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs at times. We have some things to work on, these guys have been good about critiquing their work and forming a plan of attack and that's what we will work on next week."
