Joseph Callahan (
Eyota, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College next fall.

Callahan has competed four years for the Dover-Eyota High School track and field team heading into his final season this spring. Callahan won the conference championship and placed fifth at the Minnesota State High School League in the discus as a junior. He is a two-time sectional champion in the discus and earned all-conference honors two years. Callahan has personal bests of 45'6 in the shot put and 149'4" in the discus. An outstanding student, Callahan plans to study Exercise Science or Nursing at Northwestern. He is the son of Chris and Holly.
