Harland Groves (Faith, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College beginning next fall.

Groves is a 6'2" shooting guard who is in his fourth season playing for the Faith High School basketball team. Groves averaged 12 points, six rebounds and nearly two steals in leading his team to a 15-7 record his junior year. He was named to the West River Basketball all-tournament team and is a two-time all-conference selection in football. An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Groves plans to study Exercise Science at Northwestern. He is the son of Kevin and Buffy.

"Harland is a tough, competitive player," commented Northwestern Head Coach Kris Korver. "He is a hard worker and is a good leader. We are excited that Harland will be part of our Red Raider basketball program."
