The Red Raider women's soccer (1-1-1) team travels to Illinois Thursday to take on #22 ranked Trinity Christian College (3-0) at 4pm.

The Raiders have faced a tough non-conference schedule to this point but have scored in every match and held a 1-0 lead at halftime of each match. 

Northwestern has been lead by Maddi Avery who has two goals on the season while Nikky Farnsworth and Molly Ryan each have a goal and an assist. Tatiana Garcia and Julie Dunlap hold an assist each.

The Trolls have been lead by Selah Hopkins who has four goals in the first three games. Lexxy Trujilio has the remaining goal for Trinity Christian.

Ally Kranstz has lead the Trolls in net only allowing one goal but only has four saves on the season. 

Northwestern faces a tough schedule in the six days as they face Trinity, St. Xavier (Ill.), and Buena Vista (Iowa).

"It is a tough stretch of games in a short time period," commented head coach Ben Karnish. "We are excited to finish off the non-conference schedule as we are seen a lot of growth in our team over the first three matches. Hopefully we can continue that improvement and the improvement shows in the results."
