Raiders Take on Top Ranked Central Methodist University

The Red Raider (1-2) men's soccer team takes on returning NAIA National Champions and top ranked Central Methodist University (4-0).

The Raiders have faced a tough non-conference schedule so far but this will be their first road test of the year.

NWC has been lead offensively by a variety of players as 5 different Raiders have a goal each. James Warren has been in net for the Raiders and has one shutout along with 9 saves on the year.

Central Methodist has scored 10 goals, 8 of them being assisted, in their first four matches of the year. This includes a 4-1 route of seventh ranked Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.).
Rodirigo Parades has lead the Eagles with 3 goals and 1 assist while Vince Gelei has been in net for CMU and has allowed only 2 goals and has made 9 saves.

"We schedule a tough non-conference schedule for a reason," commented head coach Dan Swier. "We want our guys to be challenged early in the season so we can be prepared for the GPAC."
