Anna Wedel was named the GPAC Volleyball Attacker of the Week announced by the league office earlier today.

Wedel, a junior outside hitter from Orange City, Iowa, averaged a team-best 4.4 kills in leading the Red Raiders to a perfect 4-0 record last week. She hit .315 and posted double figure kills in all four matches. Wedel also averaged 2.4 digs per set and recorded a pair of double-doubles, including an 18 kill, 13 dig outing in the win over No.3 Grand View. 

Northwestern, ranked seventh in the NAIA, is 7-0 this season and will open GPAC play on Wednesday night at Dakota Wesleyan.
