Hannah Nerem (Edgerton, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College next year.

Nerem is a 5'10" forward who played four years for Southwest Minnesota Christian High School. Nerem averaged nearly a double-double, 12.4 points and 9.2 rebounds, in leading her team to a 23-5 overall record as a senior. She shot 50% from the field, dished out over two assists per game and finished as the program's career rebound leader. An all-state selection as a senior, Nerem earned all-conference and all-area honors three years. She was part of two state tournament teams and is an academic all-state pick. Nerem plans to major in Business at Northwestern and is the daughter of Joel and Denise.

"Northwestern College and our women's basketball program are excited to have Hannah join us in the fall," commented Northwestern Head Basketball Coach Chris Yaw. "Hannah is a person of high character who has tremendous work ethic as demonstrated by both her athletic and academic success. She is a strong athlete with good feet and basketball fundamentals.
