Casey Kleemeier (
Winterset, IA) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College next year.
Kleemeier is a 5'11" guard who had an outstanding four-year career playing for the Winterset Huskies. As a senior, Kleemeier averaged 14.8 points, 5.8 rebound, 5.3 assists and just over 2 steals per contest, while leading the Huskies to a 3
rd place finish at the Iowa State Tournament.  His terrific senior campaign earned him a spot on both first-team all-conference and all-substate.  Kleemeier finishes his career as a 1,000-point scorer and the all-time assist and steals leader at Winterset High School. He plans to major in accounting at Northwestern College. Kleemeier is the son of Jason and Jess.

"Casey is a winner!" commented Northwestern head coach
Kris Korver. "He is the all-time assist and steal leader at Winterset H.S. His leadership, character, and work ethic are impressive and contagious. He will be a great addition to our program and campus community. We look forward to sharing the next 4 years with Casey here at NWC!"
