McQuillan To Play Football At Northwestern

Konner McQuillan (Leavenworth, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

McQuillan is a 6'2", 205-pound running back and defensive back who played three years for the Lansing High School football team. McQuillan rushed for 1,011 yards and 12 touchdowns in leading his team to a 5-4 record last fall. He earned first team all-conference honors and was named to the class 5A all-state team. McQuillan plans to major in psychology at Northwestern and is the son of Mark and Michelle.

"Konner will add a physical presence to our backfield," said Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He is a tough, down hill runner who has great athleticism. We are excited to have Konner join our Red Raider football team."
