Northwestern College hit three home runs in its 8-6, game two win and earn a split against College of Saint Mary on Senior Day, the final home games of the regular season. The Red Raiders came up short in game one, 7-5.Â
The Red Raiders move to 10-10 in the conference, 17-22 overall, heading into their regular season finale at Midland.Â

Emily Bosch and
Devin Dreesen all homered in game two as the Red Raiders pounded out 14 hits total of CSM pitching. Bosch led Head Coach
Shane Bouman's squad, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
Amber Schubert (2/4, 2 runs, RBI),
Emily Strasser (2/4, 2 RBI) and Dreesen (2/3, 2 RBI) all had multiple hits.Â
Samantha Ubben (4-5) gave Coach Bouman six solid innings, yielding eight hits and six runs, four earned, before leaving with two runners on base in the seventh. Ubben walked two and struck out two.
Sydnee Isom recorded the final two outs and earned her second save.Â
College of Saint Mary scored three in the top of the first, getting two out singles by Ashley Trendle, Emma Hofmaier and Kimberly Merwald. Northwestern answered with two runs in the second, both unearned, after a couple of Flames' errors and singles by Dreesen and
Bri Giordano.
Northwestern took the lead for good with a three-run third inning that began with a Bosch solo home run and ended with a two-run double by Strasser. Beaver delivered a solo home run to lead off the fourth, followed by an RBI double by Schubert to give the Red Raiders a 7-3 cushion. Dreesen led off the fifth with a solo shot, her first home run of the season, to make it 8-3.Â
CSM scored three runs in the final two innings and had the go-ahead run at third before Isom forced Merwald to fly out to centerfield to end the game.
The Flames totaled 10 hits, three from Trendle, who drove in two and scored two. Kelsey Goodban (L) suffered the loss, giving up six hits and four runs in 1.2 innings.Â
A six-run, third inning by CSM sealed the Red Raiders fate in their 7-5 loss in game one. Dreesen delivered an RBI single that scored
Jennifer Boeve to give Northwestern a 1-0 lead in th second. Seven consecutive Flames' players reached base in their six-run third inning, totaling six hits and taking advantage of one NW error. Both Whitney Chamberlain and Emma Hofmaier hit two-run doubles.Â
The Flames scored another run in the fifth but Northwestenr countered with a run in the bottom of the inning on a single by Beaver that scored Strasser. Down 7-2, Northwestern made things interesting with a three-run sixth inning. Bosch led off with a double and scored after a single by Boeve. Schubert then belted her team-leading sixth home run to make the score 7-5.
Bosch and Boeve led the Red Raider offense with two hits each and Schubert delivered two RBIs.
Emma Schnell (L) dropped to 10-14, earning the loss after 2.2 innings pitched.Â
Goodban pitched a complete-game for the Flames, striking out seven.
