Miscues plagued Northwestern in its 13-6 loss to Dordt in a resumed game that concluded tonight in Sioux Center, Iowa. The Red Raiders are now 12-12 in conference play, 18-22 overall, with a four-game set against Mount Marty left on the regular season schedule.
Northwestern committed four errors that led to five unearned runs in the loss. Dordt pushed four runs across in the first, two in the second and three more in the third as they opened up a 9-2 lead.
Brady Roberts (5-3) gave up seven hits and five earned runs in two innings of work.
Luke Hughes and
Sutton Derr both pitched one inning in relief and
A.J. Nitzschke allowed one hit and two runs over the final two innings.

Brian Wede's squad totaled nine hits, led by
Evan Olesen and
Colton Harold with two each. Zach Rosson and
Britton Yoder both drove in two runs.
Luke Drooger (4-3) earned the win, going the distance on the mound with four walks and seven strikeouts. The top four Defender hitters combined to go 10-for-17 with eight runs scored and six RBIs. Both Lucas Nelson and Cam Pfafman had three hits each; Logan Cline and Chris Schrieber added two hits each.
