Samuel West (
Plattsmouth, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.
West is a 5'9", 215-pound linebacker who played three years for the Plattsmouth High School football team. A two-time all-conference selection, West accounted for 65 tackles and two quarterback sacks as a senior. For his career, West accumulated 147 total stops and was named all-district as junior and senior. He is the son of Bo and Sherry.
"Sam has great instincts at the linebacker position," said Northwestern Head Coach
Scott Bahrke. "He possesses good size and plays with a real physicality. Sam will be great fit in our defensive scheme."
