Cade Pedersen (
Lawton, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College next year.

Pedersen is a 6'2" mid-distance runner who has competed three years heading into his final season for the Lawton-Bronson High School track and field team. Pedersen is a two-time state qualifier, finishing 12
th as a member of the 4x100 relay and 15
th in the sprint medley last spring. He earned all-conference honors two years (Soph., Jr.) and has personal bests of 23.5 in the 200m, 50.9 in the 400m and 2:05 in the 800m. Also a letter winner in football, cross country and basketball, Pedersen is a member of the honor roll and plans to major in secondary education at Northwestern. He is the son of Jesse and Tara.

Scott Bahrke. "He is talented mid-distance runner who will add depth to our squad. Cade is a very driven young man and will be an outstanding teammate."
