Rivers To Play Volleyball At Northwestern

Teyah Rivers (Surrey, B.C.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.

13188Rivers is a 5'6" defensive specialist who had a standout career playing for the Regent Christian Academy volleyball team. Rivers averaged 4.1 digs and 1.2 assists per set in earning Fraser Valley Championship All-Star honors. Awarded the team's most valuable player, she earned South Delta Conference all-star accolades as a junior. Rivers plans to major in exercise science at Northwestern and is the daughter of Chris and Sheyla.

"Teyah is a great addition to our volleyball team and to the Northwestern campus community," said Red Raider Head Volleyball Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. "She has a contagious energy and passion for the game. Teyah is also an excellent backrow player and a great competitor who we look forward to being part of our team."
