"Real proud of our guys," commented head coach
Rik Dahl. "It has been a tough few weeks and these guys have had to endure some adversity. To end the regular season with a win like this is speaks to the kind of young men we get to coach. Those guys fought for those seniors tonight and it was our best performance to date. It is a good time of year to be wrestling like this. We looked aggressive up and down the line up. We looked good in neutral out scoring them 11-3 takedowns. We were solid on top wearing them out and created opportunities on bottom. We were smart in all three phases."
The Red Raiders continue their season next Saturday, February 16th, at the GPAC Tournament. Northwestern will be the host of the tournament.
