Northwestern College totaled 27 hits and 16 runs in earning a doubleheader sweep over Presentation, 9-2 and 7-6 (9 innings), played in Aberdeen, S.D. The Red Raiders even their record to 4-4 on the season; Presentation falls to 1-7.Â
The Red Raiders totaled 14 hits, six for extra bases, in its 9-2 game one win.
Madison Beaver went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs in the leadoff slot.

Jennifer Boeve all had two hits with Dreesen and Boeve driving in two runs each.Â
Emma Schnell (2-1) picked up the win, giving up eight hits and two earned runs in five innings.
Samantha Ubben pitched two perfect innings in relief.Â
Northwestern grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-run double by Dreesen, scoring both Beaver and Strasser. Presentation scored a run in each of the third and fourth innings on a combined five hits. The Red Raiders took the lead for good in the top of the fifth on a solo home run by Beaver. Coach Bouman's squad put the game away with three runs in both the sixth and seventh innings on eight hits and a couple of Presentation errors. Boeve hit an RBI double in the sixth, Beaver an RBI single in the sixth and
Amber Schubert drove in a run on an RBI single in the seventh.Â
Bibiana Villeda took the loss, giving up all 14 hits and nine runs in seven innings. Krystle Schweers paced the Saints' eight-hit attack with three hits and one RBI.Â
In game two,
Emily Bosch scored the go-ahead run on a RBI groundout by Dreesen in the top of the ninth to give Northwestern a 7-6 win.
Schnell picked up her second win of the day, improving to 3-1 on the season. The sophomore pitched the final three innings, giving up one hit and struck out one. Ubben pitched the first six innings, giving up nine hits and five earned runs to go with three strikeouts.
Beaver once again paced the Red Raiders at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Vanessa Gomez went 3-for-4 with a run and both Strasser and Boeve totaled two hits each.
Tied at one after the first, Northwestern scored two runs in the second, two more in the fourth and a run in the fifth for a 6-2 lead. Presentation came back with four runs on five hits in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game at six and force extra innings.Â
Presentation totaled 10 hits, led by Cortni Mendoza, going 4-5 with an RBI and three runs. Jadwyn Parrish added two hits in four at-bats. Darrian Gibson took the loss, giving up 13 hits in nine innings.Â
