The Red Raider men's tennis team (0-1) looks to get their first win of the season this weekend when they travel to Eden Prairie, Minn. to face Bethany Lutheran College (0-0) and Martin Luther College (0-2). The Raiders will battle Bethany Lutheran Friday at 6pm and Martin Luther Saturday at 6pm.
Scouting Bethany Lutheran
The Vikings do not have a spring semester contest to this point and participated in the ITA Tournament in September of the fall semester.
Bethany Lutheran were 9-12 in the 2017-18 season. They earned the 4th and final seed in the UMAC Conference Tournament but were ousted by St. Scholastica, 9-0.
Scouting Martin Luther
The Knights are coming off of two early season losses to Saint Mary's University and Macalester College, 3-6 and 0-9, respectively.
Martin Luther was 5-9 in the 2017-18 season and did not qualify for their conference tournament.
Scouting Northwestern
The Raiders were not able to muster a win in their first match against Bethel University, losing 0-9. It was the first official match back for the Raiders after a nearly 16 year layoff.
Christopher Jelken has the most game wins, 3, for the Raiders thus far as the #1 singles player.
