The Bulldogs have secured third place in the GPAC regular season with an 11-4 league record, two games in back of Jamestown and two games up on both Dordt and Midland. They are 7-1 over their last eight matches, losing only to the Jimmies in five sets on Oct. 31 in Seward, Neb. Concordia is unbeaten (11-0) in non-conference play with its most impressive win against 19th-ranked Corban early in the season.Â
Boldt is in his second year as the Bulldogs head coach, taking over the program in December of 2017 after serving as the head coach at Hendrix College (NCAA D-III) for two seasons. He returns seven starters, nine players, from a 2018 team that finished in a four-way tie for 7th place in the GPAC with a 5-11 record, 15-12 overall. Concordia was picked eighth in the preseason poll.
